Some Indicators of Dyslexia:

  • Writing can be tiring for someone with dyslexia and it may not be be an accurate representation of their spoken knowledge.

  • Do not enjoy reading for pleasure and/or reading out loud.

  • Acquiring literacy skills.

  • Difficulties with spellings and/or phonics.

  • Difficulty remembering instructions, especialy in a busy classroom setting.

  • Tricky to recall timetables or number bonds.

  • Being exhausted after the school day.

  • Low self-esteem and low self-confidence.

  • Lack of concentration.

  • Not acheiving their potential.

  • Dyslexia often runs in families.
